In 2015 Carlton Public School completed a major cabling and wireless infrastructure program in preparation for a new Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program.
In 2016 the school will be implementing Stage 1 of the BYOD program. Stage 1 will consist of 2 year 6 classes who will pilot the program.
Students in these classes will have the opportunity to bring their own iPad to use during class time and for the students in these classes who are unable to bring a personally owned device, the school will provide one for them to use.
